How the Accuracy Record Is Kept
At every session close (18:16) we store the estimated return we produced for every fund, compare it with the official return published the next day and measure the gap in percentage points. This page shows the mean absolute error over the last 90 days by fund and coverage ratio; no record is corrected afterwards.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the mean absolute error?
For each estimate we take the absolute difference between the estimated and official return and average it; it is expressed in percentage points. For example, an estimate of 1.30% against an official return of 1.10% is an error of 0.20 pt.
What does the share within ±0.25 pt show?
It is the share of all compared estimates whose estimated return was at most 0.25 percentage points away from the official return. Because a few large misses can move the average error, this share shows separately how often estimates stayed close to the official return.
Why is the error larger for low-coverage funds?
Coverage is the share of the portfolio with a known intraday price. When foreign stocks, bonds or deposits cannot be priced, the estimate reflects only part of the portfolio.
Does past accuracy carry into the future?
No. The record exists to show transparently how reliable the method has been; future deviations may differ. This is not investment advice.
